We start the tour at Lagoa Azul, where we will discover the hidden paths of the Saldanha sector, passing by the old summer house and the granary of the Duke of Saldanha. This phase of the tour reveals the nobility that prevailed in the place, which, together with the intervention of nature, produced magnificent viewpoints, such as the landscapes of Alto das Cabras - A rocky elevation with a privileged view of the Pena Palace, Castelo dos Mouros and the entire coastal line.

After passing through Alto das Cabras, the hiker begins to descent towards Lagoa Azul, passing through Pedra Branca and Gruta da Loba - a small rocky concavity with the shape of a wolf, which nowadays serves as a shelter for the explorers, and which in the past served the shepherds of the Mountains. Lagoa Azul is an area of Serra da Sintra known for its crystal clear green water lagoon, which is one of the main natural attractions of the region. It’s composed of diverse plant species which, when combined in harmony, create a relaxing and pleasant space to rest.
