The Park Penhas do Marmeleiro, with an approximate area of 4 hectares, is located on the eastern part of Murches and was inaugurated on September 5, 2009.

This park resulted from a requalification project that included a set of interventions in integral areas of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, among which we can name the reforestation of the Zambujeiro area, the creation of the Pedra Amarela Park, and the environmental recovery and landscape of the Quinta do Pisão. The initial project includes a children's park, an interpretive center in an open pavilion and a path in a passage to allow the exploration, between crags, valleys, and the dazzling natural and panoramic landscapes that the place offers.
