The tour begins in Volta do Duche, in the heart of the Historical Center of Sintra, with a magical climb to one of the most beautiful rocky massifs in the world - Castelo dos Mouros - constituted by Vila Sasseti. It exhibits a fantastic and winding garden conceived by the architect Luigi Manini, crossed by an artificial current, it’s a perfect example of the so-called "naturalistic aesthetics".

Reaching the hillside of Castelo dos Mouros, in a magical viewpoint of the Sintra Mountains – the Viewpoint of Amizade - the traveler enters a unique rural view that ends in the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Once the descent begins, we pass through Lagos da Pena, with a privileged view of Castelo dos Mouros. The route takes place along the path that borders the castle and ends at the Pena’s ramp, and from there the walker continues along Vale dos Anjos until its arrival at the idyllic Seteais Palace, built by the Dutch consul Daniel Gildemeester, owner of a large fortune that was accumulated by monopolizing the export of diamonds, a right that was conceived by the Marquis of Pombal.

There are a few meters from the Seteais to the imposing Quinta da Regaleira - Palacio do Monteiro dos Milhões - that's where the journey continues. Almost at the end, after experiencing the unique atmosphere of Regaleira, we continue towards Cascata do Pisão, and finally, we continue towards Palacio da Vila, where this 6km adventure reaches to its end.
