Praia da Ursa acquired its name due to the Legend of Praia da Ursa. The sandy area is pretty large, with a reasonable amplitude and it’s surrounded by cliffs. It’s located approximately 1 km north of Cabo da Roca.

Inside the water, there are two imposing rock formations called Ursa and Gigante. During rainfall it is possible to observe the waterfall formed by the Ribeira da Ursa, in the North zone of the beach, where there is also a small cave.
