Starting at Fundação Saramago, also known as Casa dos Bicos, the first steps of our trip will go towards the Cathedral of Lisbon, continuing towards the Viewpoint of S. Luzia and Portas do Sol, where you will be able to see the Castelo dos Muros- a fortification built by the Muslims in the middle of the 11th century and the last redoubt of defense for the elites who lived in the citadel. The current name derives from the devotion to São Jorge, saint patron of the knights and crusades. The name was given by D. João I in the fourteenth century.

The Castle has approximately 6,000 square meters, which include yards, sentry boxes, moats, towers, and the fabulous view of the city of Lisbon from the iron canyons. We will also walk through the Viewpoint of Graça, the Viewpoint of de Portas do Sol, the Church of San Vicente, the National Pantheon and the Viewpoint of S. Estevão.
